Metal structure of the Templo


Last week began to arrive the parts that will be part of the metal structure covering for the auditorium of the Temple.
 


Due to the large span to cover the auditorium and the large number of installation items that will be put together in it, the loading in this roof covering are really great and it took a long engineering work to achieve the best structural condition.




The structural parts (scissors) to be handled in the assembly were the subject of a major logistic study very well resolved and detailed, because the weight of each piece is 60,000 kg and the length (span) of more than 80 meters.



To address the assembly issue, this structure will also be composed of technical walkways which will serve for future maintenance of all the between roof equipments and also will support the very lining of the auditorium.
The parts that are arriving to the construction site after assembled will have the configuration of the image below.
