In just one month we had a very significant advance in the services on the facade of the Temple of Solomon, which can be seen around the work.
Referring to the ventilated facade system, still placing the metal profiles, which are already almost the entire facade, while also advancing the service placing the stones from Israel. We currently have more than 5 square meters (m2) already installed, completely changing the aspect of the work.
As soon as the facade is completely done, we will be placing the stones from Israel in the 32 columns that are surrounding the Temple.
This week We also concluded the coverage of the nave, giving way for numerous other activities that start inside.
The objective of this blog is to keep you updated of the construction of the Temple of solomon.

Isolation of TAGs
The project already has three tanks of cold water (TAG)
mounted with approximately 300,000 liters of water each.
To reach this point, water-tightness tests were performed
according to the Inspection and Testing Plan (PIT in
Portuguese) elaborated for the project, and in compliance
with the Brazilian Standards regulations. Furthermore, each
tank was checked by visual inspection and topographical
monitoring, being issued an accordance report for each 20% of
the filling of each tank.
The tests showed the solidity and the tightness of the tanks,
which are consistent with the design specifications. These,
of course, the result of a strict quality control, we had talked
about in the previous posts.
The next step was to start the thermal insulation of it. The
thermal insulation is a key point when it comes to the energy
efficiency of the air conditioning system, and also to prevent
condensation outside.
The engineering work had to find at an optimized point,
between cost and benefit of the material to be used,
considering the optimal density of the material, and the
thickness required to prevent the heat transference through
the walls of pipes and tanks. This is also the result of an
extensive study of laboratory and field tests.
Is valid to remember that, after isolation, the pillars will be
built of reinforced concrete around each tank, which will later
be coated also with stones from Israel.
Therefore, the insulation will be enclosed and its
implementation should be done flawlessly and definitive.

Building of the second part of the Water Tank
Simultaneously with the execution of the work of the Memorial Building, Cold Water Tanks have been manufactured, for later mounting to the work.
The main function of the water tanks is thermal storage that aims to store chilled water produced by the equipment of the air conditioning system during times of reduced activity of the enterprise (especially at night)
and be used in periods where
electricity is more expensive.
Last week, there was the mounting of the second part. For this last assembly of parts, due to the size of the piece and its height, a great planning was needed in order to minimize the welding work in the field.
During this week, the work on the water tanks is focused on welding and finishing, all with a strict quality control, in order to ensure its final stability and also sealing.

Use of "cage" for dismantling of shaping forms
The work of Solomon's Temple, by its magnitude, has great challenges in its implementation, one of them is the dismantling of the sliding shaping forms of the pillars. To give an idea, after the workers working in dismantling the shaping forms of the pillars of 30 meters, they were removed from the top by a lifting platform. But in the pillars of 50 meters, the platform lift was not enough to remove the workers, requiring intensive work to establish a basic procedure for removal of sliding shaping forms, identifying and mapping the risks inherent in this operation. Was defined then a work plan for implementation
of activities dismantling .
The approximate weight of the slide assembly used for molding of these pillars is 2.7 tonnes. The contractor and its partners have developed a "cage" for the enhanced transport of persons, which is suspended by crane, following the decree nÂș 293 de 08.12.2011. It is noteworthy that, because it is a fairly recent legislation is the first time it is applied in a work, showing the line of builders with everything that's new to be used.

First step complete.
In the last week of 2011, three pillars of 50 meters in height and 7 of 30 meters were completed.
The work has advanced on several fronts simultaneously, and each day, and this can be verified, in just seven days completed more seven pillars of the of Solomon's Temple, while facing rainy days.
This time, were raised 4 on the right side and three on the left. This is due to the fact that we have, for this constructive process, uninterrupted 24-hour shifts. To get an idea in each of these pillars of 30 meters are used approximately 40 cubic meters of concrete, and the higher with 50 meters, around 100 m³.
As we have a total of 32 pillars, 26 to 30 meters and six meters high with 50, will be used in molding its more than 1600 cubic meters of concrete.
In the second week of February was completed the concreting of seven pillars, six of which will be part of the facade of funds and the side.
With the completion of these, now are 24 completed pillars,
missing five of 30 meters and
three of 50 meters.
These three will be the last, since it requires the completion of installation of the Cold Water Tanks, for its execution.
We know we have many challenges ahead, but the Spirit of Creation is at the forefront of this project.
We would like to thank all employees who have dedicated themselves in this wonderful project and Special all who have contributed financially to effective construction of the temple.

Prayer on the ground of the Temple of Solomon

During a program broadcast from Brazil, on IURD TV, at noon, Monday, 19/01, Bishop Romualdo Panceiro, together with the Bishop Jadson Santos and other Pastors, cry out for the people that sent the names and pictures to be placed in the columns of the future King Salomon Temple, who is still in construction, so that as the Temple is raised, also the life of those who sent the names and pictures will have the same evolution.
“He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.” (Revelation 3:12)
“We want that, as well as these columns they are being raised, the life of these people also be transformed, and that next pictures that they will take, will show their life transformed” determined Bishop Jadson.
The names of the members from UCKG Ireland also will be placed in the columns of King Solomon Temple.
To send your name or for more information, asks to a Pastor on the UCKG Help Centre near your house or contact us.
