The Project

Redesigning the King Solomon Temple from the Bible quotations became a big challenge - from the time we had the initial understanding that the scale used by Solomon would not meet the need of the UCKG for today. Moreover, at that time, only the priests could attend it, but this has not applied to the Temple we are building, seen that not only church members but also anyone interested may have the opportunity to go back in time and learn a little more of this amazing project. This biblical atmosphere was enhanced when the Bishop Edir Macedo asked to come from Israel, all the stones that covering the  Solomon Temple.
This challenge was designed from three bases:
Divine - guided by the direction of the church and interpreting the data of the Bible, seek to bring many elements that could actually redeem the atmosphere of the time experienced by Solomon.
Technical - the project meets all legal requirements and standards established by competent authorities, in addition to providing accessibility to people with any type of special need.
Environmental - the project will be the first religious building of this size to seek LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) - Green Seal. This demonstrates the concern of UCKG for with the environment.
Deployed in an area of approximately 28,000 m² in Celso Garcia Avenue, in the Bras neighbourhood in Sao Paulo (SP), the complex, which has almost 74,000 m² of built area and divided into two large blocks, interconnected, can comfortably accommodate  more than 10 000 seats.
The building front, equipped with 11 floors, comes to measuring nearly 56 feet tall, without accounting that 7 meters down, where the two basements that behave approximately 1200 parking spaces. The building of at the back will be interconnected, and reach the height of a little more than 41 meters high.
The lighting was developed for people not realize the luminaire (since they did not exist at the time of the Temple). Materials that period as wood, stone and copper will be used on a large scale.
The complex will also have Biblical schools with capacity to hold about 1,300 children, studios of TV and radio, an auditorium, and lodging for the pastors.
Outside one memorial was created with approximately 630m ², where it can be known not only the history of the Temple, but also the entire trajectory of the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God.
The project is designed to cause the least possible impact on the environment during construction, by reducing the impact of actions in the area and using recycled and regional materials. Throughout his life, will benefit from strategies designed aiming at the rational use of energy, water reuse and heat.
The building will be occupied by members of the UCKG, visitors, employees and residents, which will enjoy comfort, security and all facilities designed by the team of engineers and architects, such as:
Parking; Air conditioning; power generation system itself, which will serve the entire building - if there is a disruption in supply of commercial energy; Lift smart and prepared for use by individuals with special needs; Equipped with the latest sound generation and video system; security system equipped with circuit TV; etc..
